Fantastic and perfect hotel located adjacent to the centre of Sultanahmet and the main sights of the city locations and tram station. Quiet and convenient location, next to a Grand bazaar, loved this place.
Not great area.

Location: the hotel was very close to real, local Istanbul, and Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and other major attractions in Sultanahmet. A cool bonus was nearby Myterrace Cafe & Restaurant, that offered tea and coffee. There were a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a mini-fridge-bar and a dining area in the room, greatly enjoyed that...

We loved deluxe double room provided with a fantastic view and aircon and balconies. It was in a particularly good and amazing location close enough to the attractions and transportations as well as Sultanahmet square, where all the most impressive sightseeings are.

The staff at this hotel are excellent and very knowledgeable. They are friendly and always ready to help, and they even take the time to sit down with guests and have a cup of tea. Their expertise on Istanbul experiences is impressive. The hotel's location is also very convenient, within walking distance to metro stations that can take you all over town. It's a down-to-earth and comfortable place at a reasonable price.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tulip hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. There is always somebody in the reception to answer questions or intretain guests. The location is fantastic so close to all the main sites. Our room was cozy but with all the comforts. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody spending a few nights in Istanbul. The breakfast spread is very tasty and served on a fantastic terrace with sea view.

The staff at Hotel Tulip House were very friendly and willing to help us make the best use of our stay through recommendations and advice. On several occasions we stopped in the reception area after a night out and talked to the guys about our day and other general conversation. They were all very happy to speak to us making the hotel seem very friendly indeed. They even upgraded us to a room with a balcony and a lovely view for a few nights as it was empty. The breakfast was simple but very nice and the staff running that area were always ready to help if needed. The local to central Istanbul was terrific, 5 mins walk to the Blue Mosque meant that we could always return to the hotel for a rest in the afternoon or to drop of some purchases. The hotel was always very clean and tidy too. Basically a lovely little hotel in a great location with staff that made our stay really special.
Nothing, for our budget I can't imagine finding a better hotel in Istanbul

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Istanbul. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town, within walking distance to all the main monuments. Plus, it was situated on a big hill, which gave it breathtaking views of the city. The rooms were comfortable, with king size beds and balconies where you could enjoy your morning coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. And speaking of coffee, the breakfast spread was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious Turkish dishes and the best Turkish coffee I've ever had.
All was well, no complaints.

I choose this hotel considering the fact that it offers the possibility to park a private car at the site. And in the old city sultanahmet it is not so easy to have this facility for free. But, even if you're not interested in this facility, the hotel has a very good position for visiting the main attractions of Istanbul by foot. Our room was clean, spacious, all electric devices working properly, the breakfast was open buffet, not amazing, but in a good turkish tradition, reasonable. I consider that it has a correct price for what it offers.
Not unplesant, but to be mentioned. If your room it is on a upper floor (more than 1) and if your not in a good shape for exercises, take care that the steps are not so easy to climb, the distance between the levels is not small and the steps are narrow and steep. Also, the hotel was nice and in good conditions, but the neigbourhood is an old one, and not all the buildings around look good. Not to blame the hotel, but if you want a refreshing and breathless view, hard to find in Old City and at this prices.

The Hotel was excellent! Our room was very clean and we had the room with a balcony, sea view and a big bed. It was perfect for a romantic getaway and we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not huge, but enough to sleep and relax. Wireless was available throughout the whole hotel. Great!!

We stayed in Istanbul for Xmas and we found the hotel to be average. The breakfast and the view from the top were definitely the best parts of our stay. We also appreciated the fact that it was located near some major attractions and the public transportation system.
We had a few issues with the hotel during our stay. the room we were given was very small and cramped, making it difficult to move around.

Staff in any 5 stars hotel should stay in the Tulip House to training. Those guys are the friendliest I have ever seen. Location is very good for those that like to associate turism with walking. (5 minutes from the blue moske, 7 minutes from the grand bazaar). Tulip is totally worth!

The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was plentiful. The location was close enough to walk to the main Sultanahmet attractions, but set far enough apart from the main drag to enjoy a quiet night's sleep. One of the hosts will greet you at the closest metro stop and escort you to the hotel. The experience was well above average for the price range.
